Ok...I had this problem too when I was running Cyberlink power cinema. I would try to go to my recorded files in My Documents and when I opened the folder that the video files were in, explorer would crash.Sad Just wondering if anyone knew why this was happening and what I could do to stop it.

Typically this will happen on a specific folder because there's a corrupt file which when explorer tries to make a thumbnail, loads a codec and causes explorer to barf.

Try opening the folder in list or details view instead of thumbnail view and work your way through the files until you've found the one which is causing the crash of explorer.

Or it could be something completely different. Smile

my money is on this. I used to get this problem if i tried to view a folder with a corrupt divx file in it.

If switching to file list doesn;t work, use to dos prompt to rename / move files in order to identify the culprit.
