As turkey mentioned, you can already tell GB-PVR to save the zap2it XML. zaptools is welcome to parse that file if they want.
Honestly, its not worth coding in complications like this for rare events like one off reloads of the EPG etc. My main concerns is getting the nightly automated refresh working with as minimal zap2it data as possible, since that is going to be the vast majority of zap2it data used.
If I recall correctly there is the desire to not drive GBPVR in favor of one EPG over another....correct? Meaining if Zap2it offers items that are not availale in another EPG then it normally doesn't become part of the base functionality within GBPVR. Correct?
I wasn't aware of GBPVR had the ability to keep the XML that is downloaded from Zap2it.....I will take a look tonight and see how tough it would be to add a configuration to ZapTools to use the already downloaded XML. I am sure that this is doable.
