Hauppauge HVR-1300 or HVR-1300 MCE-Kit?

Hello! I'm currently happy user of PVR-150 + GBPVR + Pundit-R. Now I'm planning to purchase HVR-1300, but can't decide which one is better. Retail or MCE version. As I already own PVR-150, I don't need to have another Hauppauge remote. But also this MCE-Kit IR receiver looks extremely big and ugly. So, which one do you recommend? Does both cards work with GBPVR? Does MCE version work with non-MCE XP (the regular one)? Has anyone any difficulties fitting it into ASUS Pundit?

Yes, the retail HVR-1300 works correct. With an analog signal I see no difference between PVR-150 and HVR-1300.

Hm, i have the MCE-Remote Kit which was bundled with the PAL Version of PVR-500MCE (Model 1072).

The Remote-Control has only Basic-Functionality within GB-PVR. I think that 8 or 9 Buttons are working, the rest ist "death".

And with the Software HIP i can't reach anything, because my english isn't good enough to understand the HipGuide... -.-

Since HVR-1300 is not an item to select - what kindda receiver do you set up instead for both the analog and digital-T part?

You can use the regular Hauppauge IR32 software (latest version with "Beanbag" remote support). It should have most of the buttons for the MCE remote mapped (if any aren't you can use the "debug" trick in Notepad to get the RC5 codes).
