widescreen avi is stretched

im playing widescreen 16:9 .avi(s) divx and in gbpvr it gets stretched to 4:3
any fix to this?

install ffdshow and configure it to "retain aspect ratio". or you can use F7 to cycle throught the available aspect ratios in the config.xml file (search the forum/wiki for help on adding aspect ratios)
