Ah, no - they cant. That would be illegal, and not ok by me.

That said, you dont want the intervideo mux. Its the worst of the lot. I dont know of anyone using this. Pretty much everyone either uses the Cyberlink or Microsoft DVR-MS mux.

The Cyberlink mux bears no relationship to the Cyberlink video decoder, so if you're still trying to remove everything Cyberlink related from your machine, then I'd make this filter an exception. Its pretty good quality.

Just for you own info, the Intervideo mux was installed as part of the WinDVD Creator application.

sub, is there a way to get the OLD nativeutilities.dll file? When i was using the old one, i could simply go back to the main menu, go back into livetv, and resume watching from the paused channel.

Now that im using the new one (im' assuming the new one is in the new gbpvr), i have to quit the entire program.

Neither is desirable, but the first is definately easier for me.

sub, i've noticed that with GBPVR, it searches for a signal during channel change, and if there is no signal, it simply 'gives up'.

In that, i mean if I haven't got my cable plugged in, it will say 'no signal' obviously, but then when i plug in the cable, it won't pick up the signal. On the other programs, and my digital set top box, it will pick it up and i can go from there. With gbpvr, i must change channels and make it scan again.

Is there a way to change this/reason why it's like this. I think perhaps that may be where my problem lies.

Any chance of that old nativeutilities.dll file?

Or even the old version of gbpvr?

Correct, that is the way it works, though once it has a signal, you can remove the cable and plug it back in later and it will continue.

I dont really know what older version nativeutilities.dll you mean. A version from a previous release of GB-PVR wouldnt help you - they're not compatible between releases.

Sorry, I have no older versions of GB-PVR. I usually delete them about a day after I upload a new version. If people continue to download old versions it just makes support more difficult for me.

But anyway, i used the patched nativeutilities.dll file to try, and what that did, is made me have to quit the entire program if i had a channel pause. Previous to that, i could simply quit livetv, and go to the main menu, select it again and i oculd watch.

When i put the old nativeutilitiles.dll file back, i could again do that.

Now i dont' have the old one, so i'm forced to exit the entire program

There is no setting that will change this. This is just the way application is designed to work. Its been this way since digital support was added over a year ago.

You'd need an entire version of GB-PVR. You cant just use an older version of NativeUtilities.dll on v0.97.13 - it'd just crash and burn.

I can't think of nay other reason why it's pausing during channel changes other than that.

Guess i'll try new cables or something like that to try fix that.
