I enabled it in the config program, but on my MVP remote I can't see anyway of turning the function on or off. Isn't it true that the CC signal is embedded in a subcarrier of the NTSC signal. On a normal tv you are just switching on a portion in the receiver that decodes the subcarrier. On GBPVR however, I thought if the Box was checked for CC in the config app that it would capture it into the recording and then all you had to do is toggle a switch on the remote or the desktop running GBPVR to make closed captioning show up or disappear. Obviously I am mistaken because that doesn't work.
Thanks for any help.

Used on the PC there is some very primitive CC support, which hasnt been touched in over two years, but it'll work under a very specific set of circumstances.

You have to have a PVR250 or PVR350. You have to be using VMR7/9, and you have to be using the Intervideo decoder.
