Reoccuring recordings problem

Storing a permanent list really complicated things when user really did want to record a show they've recorded in the past. I would have needed to provide a way to clear out certain shows etc, which just seemed messy and would complicate the interface. It would probably also result in a lot of posts asking why a specific recording didnt occur, where people had recorded it previously and were aware this was the reason for this episode not scheduling.

In my case, it seems better to delete multiple unwanted recordings than to miss one that I deleted by mistake or got messed up for some reason. I also support keeping the interface simple; fewer things to screw up that way.

I have also learned that you can't completely trust zap2it listings and anything permanent based on those listings would almost surely break.
