Been fiddling with this since Feb- so far, have managed to get totally confused......
Have a Hauppauge PVR 150 w/IR Blaster remote. Input is via DirecTV DRD430RG box (Hauppauges IR Blaster config sees it, and functions- so I know it works). Tried getting everything to work with the Software that came from Hauppauge- but never could get the thing to change channels!
Gave up on that a week or so ago- Have upgraded my system and have installed GB PVR- so far it looks slick. Got it configured with my Zap2it, found my channels, and am getting a good signal. Ran the 45 button Hauppage fix. Still no changing the channels at the DRD430rg, or in any recordings I try to make. From what I understand- GB PVR uses the Haupauge IR application for changing channels- is it possible (or even likely) that this is the problem?
BTW- When I try to change the channels- a "No video signal detected" flashes across the screen- just have to wonder if there is something I'm either not setting up right, or I've not set up right in the Hauppauge IR
