Replaced the DLL, restarted the pc and still have no change in behaviour...

Not the answer I was looking for... it does respect the timeout, just only when you go to Live TV...
How about a line in the log file saying ... 'respecting timeout of XXX found in USBUIRT setup.' ? Just to make sure it is firing. (And I guess the timestamp changed in the log file to include seconds...) Smile

Just as an FYI... I decided to remove GNPVR, reinstall and see what happens. Once I did that, everything seems to work fine. So there must have been something in the previous setup that was causing the problem. Thanks for looking into it sub...
