Just tested a few Minutes with emus, all is working good. Ok, one thing perhaps: If i start an emu, there's a flickering between emu and GB-PVR/My Programs, but i think this is Core-Related to GB-PVR itself.
Your Idea with choosing Monitor ist really good, your idea with Priority even better.
In a few days i'll have an AMD64 X2 within my MediaCenter; were it possible to integrate the option to choose the Core for work? Process-Affinity it's called, i think.
