I recently set things up to record a program, and, after the starting time, I noticed that the G icon in my system tray was still black and white. In the past it turns green when the program is recording.

I opened GBPVR, clicked Recordings, then Pending which showed a program was recording. Next I clicked Play which gave me sound, but no picture (only a white screen).

After recording stopped, I observed that the program had been recorded OK.

After looking at some of your notes, I went to c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins, and saw that only one file exists in this folder, namely, vssver.scc. Is there any need to remove that file?

Thanks for any help.

that file is a microsoft sourcesafe file. It is not normally in there. Not unless you have checked in or out a file to that directory. or unless something else has installed that file there by mistake.

So it should be ok to delete. But it won't do any harm in there either.

If you delete this one, the Installation-File of GB-PVR will try a "repair-installation" and put it back into this folder... =p

I also noticed that my icon would not turn green when recording. I thought that it was nice when I could see the icon and check if the recording was wroking as it should. My icon does turn green when I watch TV or am playing a show I recorded.

This one isn't normal. My actual GB-PVR changes the Icon-Colour depending on, what i am doing.
Using one of the Tuners -> The "G" is green. Don't using any of the Tuners -> The "G" is gray.
