I've been using GBPVR without problems for quite some time now. Its a wonderful program and I love it. But today some serious issues came up. Live TV works great but my recordings just give me clicks and chirps. No Video problems ever. The sound on Live TV is perfect, but the Recordings cut me no slack. I have a good supply of recordings on the drive, and I've even tried ones that I KNOW that I've watched without problems before. Every other program has no problem with the audio, just GBPVR and just in the Recordings. Other media players will not play the recordings either. DVDs, MP3s, are all perfect. I dont think I changed any settings, but I do have a live-in girlfriend. <Gulp>

Thanks for any input.

Intel Celeron D330
ATI Radeon 9250 > RCA 32"
Turtle Beach Montego DDL > SDPIF > Sony receiver
Hauppauge PVR150

Everything has worked perfectly for weeks now. Why now?
WHY!!!!

Have you tried playing with the audio redenderer and decoder settings in the playback tab of the config app?

Could be something has changed the system default decoder...

I'm starting to think that this may be a problem with my audio card. I restarted the system and opened the control panel for the audio(MADE NO CHANGES). And the sound came back fine. ???? Who knows. Maybe theres an updated driver or something. I've heard Turtle Beach doesn't have the best reputation with XP users, but I've also heard that Creative Labs doesn't have the best reputation with Digital Audio users. I guess you just can't win.
