Hi

I bought an AfaTech DVB-T from ebay with BlazeHDTV (this works ok). I am trying to get GBPVR to work. It comes with BDA Drivers, I set the bda.ini accordingly but I get either error that it can't start the BDA Driver or the cache is in use. I installed mpgmux.ax in case this was the issue. I notice in the config-native.log (attached) the following failure:

15:34:45.044 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR Flow Status

I notice it seems to find the filter

15:34:43.101 VERBOSE Successfully auto detected tuner filter: AF9005 BDA Capture Filter

These are my BDA settings

TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=AF9005 BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=AF9005 BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Any help would be gratefully received.

Regards

Try running the ReRegisterFilters.bat file.

I just bought exactly the same item from ebay and like you I am trying to use alternative software to Blaze to no avail. How did you set the bda.ini accordingly? I have just been randomly selecting devices that sound similar in the recording source settings, nothing seems to work with my device. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the tip on ReRegisterFilters.bat this seems to have got past my problem

Grooverider

The bda.ini is set with the values (just edit and add after the [SETUP-Main] line)

[MyDVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=AF9005 BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=AF9005 BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

I have also noticed I haven't dog a BDA.INI file eihter, should I have one?

I'm using Windows XP sp2, 512 MB Ram and a Geoforce mx420 graphics card

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Hello.

I have problem with my Afatech dvb-t usb easy-tv. I hope you could help me. At first, it didn't find any channels. After reinstallation it found channels, but it wont receive the broadcast all the time. I mean it shows the tv channel for a second but then it stops and after few seconds it shows it again another second of the broadcast. Time jumps, it wont show the tv feed steadily.

What might be the problem? btw. the blue light goes on and off in a dvb-t device itself. It should be on all the time when watching something i assume?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Update to my problem. Blaze HDTV player found more channels when i updated it. Still the same problem, afatech dvb-t usb receives broadcast but constantly there's "no signal" on the OSD. I don't understand what might cause this. Is there any other 3rd party programs i could try? Or is it possible that the signal is too strong for the afatech? I have connected it to "cable" so it should give good strong signal. I have this feeling that afatech dvb-t usb easy-tv isn't very good receiver.. btw. afatech device is very hot when connected to computer and working.

Please help. Thanks.
