Trying to open shortcut with happuage remote

Well I've gotten it to open the direct gb-pvr executable file but I actually need it to open the short cut to it. (This is because the shortcut changes the resolution)

I've experimented a couple times by opening shortcuts to images and such and they all work. However whenever the shortcut links to an executable it always has no response even though it "knows" where the application/shortcut is.

I've been using the file extension .lnk for all my shortcuts so far.

Not sure about the lnk bit, and you have probably already tried this, but could you bundle your resolution changer commands directly into the irremote.ini file?

For instance, I have the standard power button activation link under the irremote "RESERVED" section as follows:

Does this work for you if you make it something like this?

I output to my standard def tv which is of course much lower resolution than my lcd monitor.

Fixed it and got it to work perfectly.

If you use reschanger try making the line like this in your irremote.ini

GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\reschange.exe -width=1024 -height=768 -res=60 cmd /c C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe)}

Oh yes and thanks to tieke for the base idea of combining the command into one.
