I've had trouble at the "loading application" stage after my MVP loses power. Sometimes it hangs for hours /days and I'd go for weeks of re-attempts without a working MVP...
I'm probably one of the least experience GBPVR guys here, but I wanted to offer this hint: turn off all other devises using your hub/switch.
I use a wireless devise ( hub or switch) through which my GBPVR server and MVP are hard-wired. The wireless devise is usually dealing with alot of traffice - in addition to one or two surfing laptops I also have a network attached hard drive with all my mucis files and at least one other machine running itunes pulling these music files.
Now, I think my MVP load application step was having trouble because of all this extra traffic going through the switch. I powered down the laptops and unplugged the NAT, and bingo - MVP now seems to load application like magic after having been "down" since end of world cup.
No other changes were made. It might be a fluke, but it's worth trying if you have this issue.
