Hi

Using v0.94.13 with a Hauppauge 150 card I can view Live TV beautifully but cannot playback scheduled recordings on my PC screen. The display has a tear or rip from the top left corner to the bottom right. Everything in the lower triangle displays ok while the top right triangle is "mangled".

Im using Overlay manager and the NVIDIA video decoder.

Anyone seen this before?

Thanks !

Quote:21:45:19.376 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - Video Renderer 0008
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - NVIDIA Video Decoder
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - Video Renderer
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - CyberLink Video/SP Decoder
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - CyberLink Audio Decoder
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
21:45:19.376 VERBOSE - C:\Manual Recordings\TV1_20060901213000.mpg
The first thing I would investigate is why it is trying to use two video decoders. I'm guessing this is because you're selected that you want to use the 'NVIDIA video decoder', but its not in a functioning state, so Directshow decides it also needs the Cyberlink decoder. Maybe you're using an expired eval of the nvidia decoder?

This may or may not be the cause of your tearing. Tearing is usually a sign of the video card/CPU not being able to update each frame within the monitor refresh rate.
