For reasons unknown to the average cable subscriber, my cable provider decided it need ed to reorder the channel lineup. This has created a problem for me. I have two sources that have cable tv as the input and one source that has Directv as the input.

After the lineup change, I suddenly had channels in the 2100 range which also had a 'paired' station of the new cable lineup (ie 2170, 13 KLAFLP) when viewing the guide data in EWA. I tried removing all three sources, readding the lineups (Zap2it source for both cable and directv). I updated the guide data and this straightened out most of my problems, but I still have a few stations that have 21xx paired stations. I have reviewed my Zap2it account to make sure that the 21xx series stations do not exist. I have also tried to turn off/remove these channels from within each source, but they do not appear in the list of channels.

Any idea on how to fix this? I hope my explanation is adequate enough to understand the problem I am having.

Thanks can get messy when zap2it changes the channel numbers or names. It probably cant insert channels with the specified numbers because channels already exist in those positions.

The easiest way of fixing it would be to delete all your capture sources and recreate them, then set up you recordings again.

That's kind of what I did. I did not delete them all at once though. I droped one, readded, drop the next, readded, drop the last, then readded it. I guess I need to drop them all then readd? Is that why it didn't clear things up?
