Apologies if this has been discussed but a google search didn't find anything similiar.
Intermittently when watching recorded shows I will stop a recording and choose another recording to play. When I push enter to play the video , the sound starts to play but the screen still shows the menu with the highlighted recording.
The sound will skip ahead/back but the video is still just the menu. Only a reboot will fix the concern and sometimes it will take a few days to come back. This happened on the last version as well as the latest version from a couple of weeks ago.
TIA

I have the same problem. It seems like it happens after the system wakes up from standby. I will watch a recording or two and then subsequent recordings will play the sound but I only see the menu. Do you let your machine standby?

No , my machine is always on. Seems to happen more if I stop 1 recording and then start another.

Did you try different settings/combinations for videodecoder, audiodecoder, videorenderer?

I had this exact problem myself. I simply reinstalled my Nvidia decoder driver and it fixed my problem. I'd think that it's probably something similar on your end.

I just reinstalled my Intervideo decoder, I'll see how that works. Do you use the nvidia PureVideo decoder?
