Failed to find BDA tuner filter: C

What does the following error mean?

VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Cinergy 1200 DVB-S Tuner (BDA)
20:12:01.218 ERROR Failed to find BDA tuner filter: C

I then stopped the recording and added it again and it recorded without problems.

If I read the logs (attached) correctly, the first time it tried to use the tuner and the second time it used the capture device ... but why?

According to the logs the filter called "Cinergy 1200 DVB-S Tuner (BDA)" wasnt there when it first looked, but was next time it tried.

Some devices try to get tricky with automatically removing and re-adding device filters to trick some apps into having support for multiple cards in the one machine - might be related to this? I dont know really.
