Sometimes the Resume option doesn't work on the MVP. So I'm stuck fastfowarding till I get to the part I want to watch. The MVP fast forwards pretty fast (I'd say about 1 hour in a few minutes) so normally it's not a problem.

However, I notice on the keyboard reference it says you can skip ahead by a number of seconds.

Does this work on the MVP?

I tried 999 and >> and it just seemed to fastforward normal.

Anyone know how to do this basic functionilty thatis eluding me?

The number and then >| is used to skip ahead 'x' amount of minutes...

So you start a show, and the OSD says it's 1:30:00 (1 hour thirty minutes long) and you want to get to the middle, just select 45, and then the '>|' key (not the >>)

I've never been able to get it to work either MPKing. I've run across a couple of other references to it not working for folks but no one has been able to figure it out.

Try to reproduce it, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Don't know if mine will help sub but here it is. I run 96.8, I've never been able to get the newer version working.

What do have the 'Manual skip timebase' setting set to in the config app? It should be set to the default 'Minutes' timebase.

yep that was it, I had it set to seconds. I thought I needed it in order to get the skipping to default to skipping 30 seconds each press. Thanks a bunch, excellent program btw.

Mine was set to seconds as well. I may have changed it, but I don't know, it's been so long since I've tried to "tweak" anything.

Works now.
