Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the some of the keyboard controls such as F3 (video) and F4 (Music) don't work? (There might be others that don't work either) Refer to http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manua...dReference for the keyboard map.

This was on a first install of GB-PVR (version 09813)

I don't believe there are other applications running in the background that might be trying to use these keys.

Also, - and + don't work for the volume control, but numeric keypad "add" and "subtract" work to change the volume (requiring a change to irremote.ini to get the Hauppauge remote to control the volume)

Ok, the silence was deafening! But I found out the problem was "error 18" (being 18 inches from the screen - the user) - at least for the F3, F4 and F5 codes.

Unlike the 'TV' command, "Video", "Music" and "Pictures" are only active from the main menu. Is this a feature or an oversight?

So my solution was to change irremote.ini as follows:

VIDEOS={home}{F3}
MUSIC={home}{F4}
PICTURES={home}{F5}

Apart from the potentially annoying 'flash' of the main menu, as least I can jump quickly to one of the other options from most, if not all, screens.Smile

Good for you that you found a solution.Smile If after a few days no-one has reacted to a question, I think you are free to bump it, so folks who missed it the first time might read it then.

I checked here and F3 seems to take my to the video library regardless of what screen I'm in (TV Guide, Net Radio etc). Was it a specific screen you were in that wasnt responding to this key? I tried about half a dozen screens, and it seemed to work fine in all of them for me.

Looks like the F3, F4 etc works in all screens except when watching Live TV.
