Hey all,

First my thanks to Sub for an awesome piece of software. GBPVR (v9813) is working great for me, but I need some clarification on supported video types in the Video Library.

I have some XVID AVI's from my camcorder that I'd like to be able to "import" into the video library. However, when I browse the video library for these videos, none of them show up. (the directory appears empty) I do have the xvid codec installed on my machine.

Reading through the wiki I was able to find that it supports mpeg2 videos. When I convert them to mpeg1 or 2 they work OK.

Is it possible to view these without converting them?

Thanks!

What is the file extension of these files? If its .avi then I can see no reason they wouldnt show up. GB-PVR doesnt check if the decoders are present until it tries to play the file. Its not filtering out files it cant play.

ok nevermind, I'm an idot.

I dunno what I did wrong, if I had pointed my video library to the wrong folder or what, but I just dropped one into the video directory and it appeared/played fine.

Sorry bout that!
