When I am in the TV guide and I select a program to watch, 9 times out of 10 I get a popup error message as follows "Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt". My gut feel is that my memory is ok (at least I hope so).
I am running GBPVR using the Windows Media Player Edition with an Angel II card. I also use the MediaMPV but for my testing I am only doing this on the PC. The exact steps are I click on the TV Guide, I navigate to a program, double click the program and then click "Watch".
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Attached is my log

THANKS!

Zip and attach gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look. Its most likely a buggy decoder filter being used.

I had the same problem. Owing to the developer's thought that it might be codec-related, I updated my codecs, using the awesome KLM Mega Codec Pack, and the problem went right away. I'd recommend getting the KLM Mega pack at

http://www.codecguide.com/download_mega.htm

and see if that fixes you up. It has the side benefit of making almost any movie you could possibly download play perfectly Smile

Best of luck
/Dave
