If there is a good show on I will switch to live TV as the freeview (DVB-T) transmissions are in 16:9 a lot/most of the time and my 16:9 CRT doesn't have a built in DVB tuner.

Like Torque, 95% of the time we watch pre-recorded stuff.

The OSD and guide are great but the delay in switching with the cyberlink mux can be a bit of a pain at times. Maybe I will try the ATI mux. I have this installed as it came with the avivo encoder pack I downloaded.

I use LiveTV because it has sharper and clearer picture than the native tuner on my 30" LCD TV/monitor (the native TV deinterlacing is very poor but the deinterlacing on my ATI video card is excellent).

I use live tv on a MVP, no problems at all, just don't channel hop and everything is fine, changing channels that way is a tad too slow, as mentioned before.

I find we tend to exit out to the guide when a program finishes instead of random hopping anyway; it keeps us more focused on what we want to watch, rather than random rubbish.
