I had a problem with my digibox, so I tried to disable its capture source by unticking the enabled box but GBPVR still uses the capture source.

this happened in 98.13 as well as in 99.05.

After deleting the capture source I noticed that all but one recoccuring recordings were gone from the list and the epg was empty (the capture source was the first in the list).

I cant think what 'enabled box' you're talking about. There is no check box (or other control) for enabling/disabling capture sources. What screen?

Correct. It even warned you about this when you deleted the capture source (and you clicked the 'OK' button).

SUB,

I was maybe a bit unclear in my post. The disable tick box is not on the capture source itself, but on the channel list in the edit menu. I unticked all channels thinking this would effectively disable the capture source.

Is it possible that all recordings already scheduled would still use the capture source although the channel is disabled?

The second item is correct. This would mean that one cannot remove (the first?) capture source without deleting the reoccuring recordings. True?

I did not check what it would mean if I deleted all the channels from the capture source and just leave the source as sort of a dummy. Will GBPVR assign the reoccuring recordings to another capture source after a full period of the EPG?

That wouldnt have worked. This would only have affected new recordings being scheduled. There is no functionality to disable a capture source.

Correct, pending recordings will be deleted.
