Wierd problem.. my HTPC ran out of room on drive C. After looking into it, it seems the log files grew until they were over 10gigs. lol. I couldn't look at them because they were too big, so I just removed them (after shutting down the GBPVR service).

The GBPVR.MDB file is over 800 megs, the "copies" of the DB from 5 days prior are only 186megs.

Any idea how I should proceed?

Thanks!
Dedicated HTPC: MSI K7N420 Pro, AMD 2200+, 1.5GB RAM, PVR150, 550Pro, ATI 9800XT, 300GB Maxtor HD, Diamond XTreme DDL Sound, MVP over wireless bridge, GBPVR 1.2.13

There is actually a maximum log file size of 1MB, and once it reaches this size it'll roll over to a new file, keeping a maximum of three backups of each file.

This is the primary reason the rest of us moved SQLite. All new GB-PVR installs use SQLite by default, and most other user that have upgrade from older version have switched to SQLite over the last few releases. You can do this by the running the included ChangeDatabase.exe utility.

In normal operation Access databases only ever grow, and never reuse space made available when data is deleted.
