Can I record audio only from composite inputs on pvr500?

I have a pvr 500 card, will gbpvr allow me to record audio only through the composite inputs on the card? Or would I have to feed it a video signal as well to make it record? Has anyone done this before?

but couldn't you just record the audio with your sound card

it'll record audio only fine. if you use gbpvr, obviousely you'll get an mpeg with no picture. If you use another app (amcap for instance) you should be able to record to an audio only format.

Yes, if you can hear it from your speakers you can record it! "Audacity" will do the job.
