I have 4 MVPs and *sometimes* once connected I get no audio or video(black screen), putting into standby and connecting again a few times will get it to work. but its rather annoying.

I've seen this thread (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=23270)about getting the control and streaming connection, and my log shows the streaming connection failing but its not my firewall as its disabled and not the Hauppauge services. Can it be anything else? Its worse on the latest release 99.5

Nothing springs to mind.

I've never seen this problem here.

I seem to have a few problems that no one else has with GBPVR, I wonder if its because I am a *very* heavy user, I have a dedicated GBPVR server (3GHz, 2Gb RAM) but only ever use it via the 4 MVPs through my house (Wired Cat5 network). I record via PVR150 my security cameras channel 24 hours a day/7 days a week and at least 1 MVP is always on playing music (3000+ Mp3s), watching avi files, live TV (2 further Nova tuners) or viewing pictures (2000+ jpegs).

Maybe this is why I see problems no one else does?

If I could find a solution to these annoyances I would be extremely happy!

see my other posts for more problems no one else has!

...and I still get random disconnections on all MVPs (different versions H3,D3A etc) at least 4 times a day, and I've tried all the different dongles too.

Sad

other than that i think GBPVR is great! Big Grin
