So here are the events leading up to GBPVR09808 not working:

I was watching some TV using wintv32, I've got a hauppauge pvr usb2. Wintv32, froze on me when I attempted to watch fullscreen.

This has happened quite a few times and I know how to recover without producing the BSOD. I usually let it run a minute or two to let it grind to a complete halt, then end the program in task manager.

I remembered that I had some problems watching live tv in gbpvr. It was just displaying a black screen but audio was there. So, I decided to try to modify the video decoder in gbpvr config not from default or intervid to the intervideo one in the meantime I was letting Wintv32 die.

After I pressed OK to save changes and let gbpvr restart, it gave me a BSOD. When windows finished restarting something was strange, the GB tray icon was the TV instead of the G and the recording status listed capture source
#1 through 8 with Tuner1: being blank.

Attempting to run gbpvr or config brings up a MS.net framework error: Root element is missing.

I tried repairing MS.net framework, removing GBPVR09808 and installing GBPVR09905 to no avail. The same problems still remain.

I'm not using any plugins.
I've included my logs.
Let me know if you need more info.
Please Help.

Maybe the config.xml file has been corrupted. You could try deleting config.xml, and make a new one from a copy of config-master.dont-edit-me.xml.

That seemed to do the trick. At least it runs now. I just gotta run through the config. I'll post again if I have any more trouble.

Thank you very much sub.
