I am having an issue that I cannot find an answer to in the forums. I have GBPVR up and running and it works really well (thanks Sub!!), my only issue at the moment is that in the guide all the info for my local network channels is missing. I have read through and found that Zap2it lists them double in the normal range (2,4,7,9,31) and in the 900 range. I have unchecked the 900 range numbers and the channel numbers are correct in the guide, however there is no program information listed. I have removed the guide, reloaded the guide, checked and unchecked channels, etc. but to no avail. I still cannot get the program info to show up. The program info does show up for all the other channels just not those 5 and they are all national network channels.

I am on Directv. Any thoughts?
Erick

If you PM me your zap2it username and password, I'll take a look.

I've found that whenever I remove channels in zap2it, I have to remove the capture source in the capture sources tab, hit okay to restart GBPVR recording service, re-open config, re-add the capture source and update the EPG. It's the only guaranteed way I've found to remove all of the TV listings.

....and yes, it's a pain in the a... Sad

When you do an epg update, it should re-add all of the channels.

removed the capture source, restarted the recording service, then went back in and re-added the capture source, updated the EPG and everything is working perfect.

A little bit of a pain but in reality it was more of a pain not having the guide. And it only took me 10 minutes anyway. So if I make anymore updates to Zap2It I will just remove the capture source and re-add it.

Thanks flyswatta for the help

Glad you got it going. I have 3 tuners and it's a major b*tch to change the zap2it account - I have to remove each one and readd them. Granted it only takes me about 15 minutes now, but that's after lots-o-practice Wink .

For future reference, it seems fine when you add channels, you only have to do this when you remove channels from zap2it.
