Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB not recognised

Hi,

GB-PVR is not detecting my Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB TV Tuner.

I looked on the supported card list for GB-PVR at http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...reCardList and it listed 2 PVR USB cards for Hauppauge:

WinTV PVR USB2 & WinTV PVR2 USB2

Although my card is a WinTV PVR USB, the WinTV PVR USB2 link directs to the drivers page for my card which I actually have installed.

Can anyone advise on what I need to try in order to get my card working?

If it is not supported and the link is a mistake, is there anyway I can configure GB-PVR to recognise it. I noticed that there is a section in the Wiki to add an unsupported card but it seemed to concentrate more on DVB-T cards using BDA drivers and not Direct drivers for analogue h/w encoders.

I don't think the WinTV PVR USB will work with GBPVR.

Correct. You need the WinTV PVR USB2 device.
