gbpvr live tv stopped working (vista media center issue?)

I'm running vista ultimate with a Win TV PVR 350 card. Live TV was working and now when I go into live tv I get a black screen (within the GB-PVR window) but no picture. Hitting escape on the keyboard returns to the main menu, with no error or other information. I'm not sure what I did between it working and not working.

Windows Media Center works fine (but I'm wondering if WMC did something that GB-PVR didn't like). I've tried uninstalling and re-install GB-PVR.

Any suggestions.

I'm fairly sure MCE is holding on to the tuner, so you need to stop the MCE services so that GB-PVR can get access to the device.

I cant remember the exact names for the services (I dont use MCE myself), but there have been a few posts in the past giving the exact details.

That was the problem... Windows Media Center Receiver Service ... takes over the card and GBPVR can't see it. I can stop the service, but it restarts on its own. I guess I'll try setting the startup type to manual.
