Greetings

I am trying to get some errors cleaned up before I start playing with adding another plugin.

In the GBPVR.exe.log I get the following (which I think i asked about before)

2007-05-10 12:40:18.110 ERROR [1] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="ForegroundTransparency"]
2007-05-10 12:40:18.142 ERROR [1] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]
2007-05-10 12:40:18.313 ERROR [1] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]

I would like to get these fixed. Thing is that I do not even know what part of gbpvr these errors are about.

They are not errors its just that the current skin is not using some optional methods.

So everyone is getting this ?

How can I track it down and "use" them just for shits and giggles ?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

I can understand if they truly are just informational but then shouldn't that be the label then ?
I'd like to resolve these anyways. So how do I determine whats not being used ?

Let me say this...The Community Skin and Widescreen version both declare that the ForegroundTransparency is 100 percent in every plugin's skin file. Not every plugin uses that attribute, but I declare it just in case (saves me the trouble of setting it to other values and testing it out). It is a copy-paste type of thing. Plugins that don't use this just report back "WTF??? never heard of it."

The "MenuType" is pretty much a standard error message that I believe everyone gets as well. I am not sure what causes that error, but it is harmless also.
