Hi to all:

I have a Sapphire Theatrix 550 PRO card. I love the way GB-PVR works and am enjoying using it.

I have a question for those more experienced. One feature I have is the input block which plugs into the card which has S-Video, Composite, right and left channel audio. I have some home videos of my children which is currently on S-VHS tape and want to author a DVD before my aging S-VHS VCR completely kicks the bucket.

I tried adding another Capture source (using S-Video as the the source in the Recording Source settings) in configuration, but that just got me a black screen (I had to alter my video decoder setting from "System Default" to "Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder to bring the signal back). I tried a S-Video as the the source in the Recording Source settings.

Anybody know what the trick is?

Thanks in advance.

sub Wrote:Create another capture source for the same card, set to use either the svideo or composite inputs, with the epg source set to 'none', then manually create a channel called 'AVI' or 'SVIDEO' or something similiar. This will then be an available channel when scheduling a manual recording or watching live tv.

Also, set the capture source number to the same number as the card that you already have installed.
