PVRX2.exe not exiting

Very excited about this new UI, Sub. It seems a lot slicker, just a few issues I have noticed.

- If you exit using the new UI, it closes the window, but does not kill the process, as a result any subsequent attempts to start the UI fail, it is still running but no window appears, if you kill the process manually in Task manager and then start the client again , it is fine, the old UI is fine.

- Playing certain video files (i.e. DIVX) cause the client to lose focus, as a result the remote is then ignored by the client, I assume this is because it is using an external app to decode the file, the old UI does not do this, it is ok for recordings, just files that I have received from a seperate source.

Apart from that, it looks great!

It exits ok here. Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I'm fairly sure this will the old problem where the divx decoder creates some divx tray icon and steals the focus. This has been discussed tons of times in the past. If you hunt around on the divx forums you'll find some fixes. Alternatively switch to a different decoder that doesnt do this.

log file attached, there seems to be an error occuring when exiting.
I have to kill the PVRX2 process manually in order to load it again.

There is no sign of any errors in the logs. Does this only happen if you try to exit the application in the first few minutes?

At present I am not using PVRX2.exe in anger, gbpvr.exe is still the main UI for me.
I will leave it running for a while and see if it's behaviour changes.

What is the significance of it only running for a few minutes?

It can take a few minutes for the EPG to finish loading in the background after the app is started.
