updated GBPVR and now cant connect my WMVP

After updating my version of GBPVR I cannot get my WMVP to connect. It was working fine till I updated it. It is however pulling an IP from the wireless router just isnt seeing the GBPVR service I reckin. Any ideas of what I must do? Is it the dongle.bin issue? Not sure but any help would be great. Thanks

I've never used wireless, so I cant really help much with this one. Hopefully someone else that uses a wireless MVP will have some tips for you. (Sorry)

Could you upload your logs? The actual transfer of the dongle.bin should be exactly the same. If the transfer doesn't occur it's most likely a firewall issue.

I think it is MVP-PVRX2.exe.log. I'd like to see if it shows a tftp when you power up your wMVP.

No help to offer - but just to report that my wMVP connected up with no problems (or tweaks), so it can work...

I had a firewall warning with the new version and had to allow a new rule.

Yeah, the server has changed from GBPVR.exe to PVRX2.exe, which may mean software firewalls are blocking the new server by default.

The new version was taking for ever to load on the WMPV and when it finally would load I could not get live tv or recorded vidoes to work at all until I went into Windows Firewall/exceptions and added PVRX2.exe.
Worked instantly after that.
