Hi, just upgraded to V1.08 and the new interface is very nice. Everything's looking pretty good, with only a few minor glitches to resolve, mostly with codecs and getting SPDIF/AC3 to work properly again on different media types.

One small navigation quirk. From Video Library, if I play a MPEG4 movie (e.g. "movie.avi") and press "Stop", it correctly returns to the Video Library (as did the previous GBPVR version).

But if I play a DVD that has been ripped to the hard drive (e.g. "movie.dvd") , and press "Stop", PVRX2 returns to the main menu rather than to the Video Library.

Then I have to press "My Videos" to get it to return to the Video Library in the same folder it was when I pressed "Stop".

Any ideas why this behaves differently from previous version?

Cheers.

I've noticed a few inconsistencies like this too...

I'd like to hitch a ride on this thread if I can with a quick navigation question in v1.08.

I've noticed that the home key no longer brings you back to the main menu with video inset. Is this intentional?

Other than that I have no complaints. MPEG2 video was choppy but the 2nd monitor patch fixed it.

The video inset was left out of the intial release of PVRX2 but according to sub it should make a return.

I'm glad to hear it will be back. It's important especially now that you can't scroll forward through the mini-guide...

I understand why Sub prioritised though.
