Has anyone ever thought about making a plugin or something that will Reformat the Drive and reload everything back on using maybe something like Norton Ghost.

Sounds like more of a Windows app than a GB-PVR plugin.

goog idea for those they are not so familar with computer. but carefull needs to be defined what is the "factory-state". before/after installing tuners, channels, epg, your plugin-ins (and even fine-tune) and so on. and because this are user tasks - I think that is difficult.

Factory State would be set by the person (i.e. would do a fresh install of OS, drivers, GB, plug ins) Then would run this Plug in and boom a backed up version of your DVR. This is similar to Ghost which would reinstall everything also. No how to activate the factory reset is going to be the challenge. Something easy but not to easy that they hit it on accident.
