config is reset

Question.

I have installed the latest GBPVR a month ago and everything was great! Then today the recorded shows listing was set back to the recorded shows around the time I upgraded, the scheduled shows was reset to that time, and the tvguide was blown away. I reloaded epg and the tvguide is back but all the recorded shows show "failed" as I had deleted the shows a while ago. The new shows recorded since then do not show as available.

Any idea what can cause a reset to a past config? Which file has all that data?

The gbpvr.db3 file holds the list of shows recorded, and the listings etc. If you deleted this file, then it start again from an empty database. I cant think where an old copy of this file might have been kept to have rolled you back to an older version of it. (if you're on vista, then the vista virtual store could cuase this)

If you capture sources are still there, then you could try using the Import Recordings feature to import recordings-dump.xml from the gbpvr directory.
