Hello,

I reformatted my hard drive and installed Vista & GBPVR 1.08. After reinstalling PVR150 Hauppauge drivers downloaded from the Hauppauge website and the core components of GBPVR, almost everything is working fine. However, there are a couple of bugs that I don't know what to do about.

1.) I can run the Hauppauge IR blaster configuration software and that's working fine. While in the IR setup application I can turn on and off my SAT Box, the IR Blaster is working A1 and channels change fine.

2.) In the GBPVR config <capture source / channel changer config> tab I have specified <.exe channel changer> and am using the haupblast.exe

However, when setting up a recording session in GBPVR, GBPVR does not change my SAT Box channels and the IR Blaster is unreponsive. I am forever stuck on one channel.

Any ideas? The IR Blaster works only in specific applications.

Regards,

Does it work in live tv? (I'm assuming you still have live preview enabled)

Yes, it works in live tv mode and I have the option "Use Live Preview mode if possible" checked.

Here are some new developments since my last post and the results are quite baffling.

1.) I installed the Win-TV-PVR 150 driver, version 2.7, which installed wintv 2000 and wintv 32 as part of the install process.

2.) I downloaded and installed the IR remote control applicaton as well as the IR Blaster setup program.

After 1 & 2 were done, I popped open wintv 2000 and it began scanning channels. A viable signal was found on channel 3; however, I didn't get an image. The screen was frozen. Since I was going to be using neither WinTV32 nor wintv2000 I thought nothing of it and continued with the IR blaster setup (see my previous post for background info about the IR blaster setup).

Frustrated that channel changing was not functioning I decided to uninstall all of the Hauppauge software and reinstall it. The second time around I installed the wintv pvr 150 driver (includes wintv 2000 and wintv 32) and tested both wintv apps before proceeding on to the Blaster software install. Low and behold, wintv is working perfectly but the minute I reinstalled the blaster software, wintv stopped working.

Hmm . . . What do you think?

Sorry, I'm not really sure on that one.
