i have a weird situation-The IR blaster works in the blasterconfig test but NOT through GB-PVR, despite me seeing the red light flash when I try and change channels in PVRX2?

Put another way, when I click "watch" in GB-PVR I see the blaster red light flash, but the channel doesn't change...

What settings do I tinker with to get the IR blaster working in GB-PVR

Thanks

Have you set you capture source to use the ".exe channel changer", and pointed it at HaupBlast.exe? Thats all that is required. The Hauppauge software takes care of the rest, and the only tweak possible is performed in the Hauppauge BlastCFG utility.

What about the Parameters? Do I add anything there? It says {channel} and the note says that it should be replaced by a channel number...its not. There are also a few check boxes below...number padding...shouldnt make a difference there...

I am confused about this whole source channel thing... Do I need to set this to anything in particular?

I really appreciate the help!

If you dont supply any parameters, then it'll pass the channel number by default, which is the only parameter HaupBlast.exe accepts. You dont need to check either of the two check boxes. If you need zero padding for your set top box, set it in the Hauppauge BlastCFG app.
