Commandline parameters for Hauppage ir.exe

Does anybody know the command line parameters for Hauppage ir.exe? On startup it pops up a message box saying "remote found" It never used to do this, so I was wondering, is there some parameter to make it do a silent startup.

I think it may well be the usual flakey Hauppauge software

ir /QUIET seems to work for me. But QUIET must be in upper case!!
