Hauppage HVR2200 stuttering & freezing

Any ideas on this?

In VMC - no problems at all plus the latest Aust driver from here

When it comes to GBPVR often I have to stop/start to get it working smoothly because often it is very jerky and sometimes freezing. Motherboard and CPU was upgraded and the problem did not go away. The only thing left is the video card. Gigabyte 8400GS [GV-NX84G256HE] or GBPVR config settings may be the casue of the problem ???

I have an HVR 4000, the picture on BBC HD & ITV HD is jerky too. No sound on ITV HD. BBC HD plays perfect on Powercinema but obviously I cant get ITV HD there. Can anyone suggest anything for jerkiness on HD and with the sound on ITV HD.

Its probably related to the decoder and/or video renderer you're using. You'll need to make sure you're using a combination that gives you hardware acceleration.

I have the sound going now on ITV HD by installing ac3 filter. Still have issue with the video. I dont really understand why BBC HD plays perfectly on Powercinema and not on GBPVR.

Is the CPU usage the same in GB-PVR asn PowerCinema when trying to watch that channel?

The CPU usage is 17% on GBPVR and 12% on Powercinema. I have in stalled the latest direct x but it didnt work.

What video decoder and video renderer do you have selected on the Playback tab of the config app? What other combinations of these have you tried.

I have WMR9 custom as the renderer & Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder(pcm45)

Are you one Vista or XP?

Vista - I have tried all combo's of renderer and decoder it seems to work best on the one I had it at. The problem is most noticable in fast movement scenes.
