Had to rebuild my machine and re-installed Windows over the current directory (deleting the existing one). But left program files etc.. Then tried to install gbpvr 1.08 (which was already in the devnx\gbpvr directory but of course no valid registry entries etc.). Installation proceeded to about 80% then an error message, psparser.ax failed to register HRESULT -2147010895. Clicked ignore and while the installation completed (sort of) when config came up, got a .net error and the configuration screen was empty.
Have tried to remove and re-install several times again to no avail. When I click Remove gbpvr from control panel, the removal completes but then installation starts again. I seem to be in an installation loop now.
Is there a way I can get back to a situation where there is no gbpvr but I can still retain my configuration files?
Thanks
Larry
