I'm rebuilding my system and having no luck whatsoever getting my TV card working under GBPVR.

The Hauppage software works so the card's OK.

I recalled I had to add entries to the BDA.INI file which I've copied over and the config tool seems happy that the two tuners are OK (I still have the working version on another partition, on checking the details seem the same).

When I tell the config tool to scan the EPG (I think that's my next process to identify the channels?) it just pops back in a few seconds saying it's saving the data and seems to have found nothing.

Have I forgotten something basic that I did last time ?

This time I make notes :-)

Those logs dont show a channel scan. Can you try again, and repost the logs?

Thanks, you've given me the reminder I needed.

I thought I was scanning using the EPG update, I needed to use the channel mapping button! That's what does the actual scanning.

I think the Wiki needs a bit of an update when it comes to the initial setup, that's not clear.

It's now working happily. I just meed to add my MPEG recording thingys back and I'm away.

Thanks. I'd forgotten how annoying that Hauppage app was!
