I thought you could select a specific card for each recording source. Only have one card myself, so I can't test this...

What I meant was.. if I set up two recording sources - one for each card - then went to record a program in the EPG, would GB-PVR ask me which recording source I want to use?

Aah, good question, can GB-PVR see that one source is occupied and use the next in line, so to speak?

I think I have some channels defined in more than one source, and GB-PVR uses the first one found. But since I have only one card, it can never be busy.

Yes, GB-PVR will automatically choose a captures source that is *available*. If its not available it will popup a conflict window giving you the opportunity to cancel one of the conflicting recordings.

Is there a way to set the priority for this? i.e. Always try one first if both are available?

It tries them in the order they were added.
