Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

OK, so the forum search is hosed right now.

When I click on Live TV.

Has this error come up? Anyone solved it? Anybody point me to a thread that deals with it?

I'm connecting to Schedules Direct for EPG data, seems to be importing fine, but no Live TV.

are you sure the service is running properly?

try restarting it via the Start Menu

What antivirus/firewall/security software are you running. Some security software is know to interfere with the GBPVR service. See this post for more details.

Also, please reproduce the problem and post your logs.

Service needed to be restarted. Rebooted and Live TV now working. thanks
