Search Guide missing?

Sub, or anyone who may know,

I did a fresh install of GBPVR 1.0.16, run community 3.01 plugin, newest weather plugin, thats it... And with any skin, the Search Guide is missing from the main menu.

And it is checked under plugins in the config.

It isn't missing, it is integrated now. On my Hauppauge remote I press guide and it pops up.

I am referring to the ability to search for a show say JEO and find all airings of Jeopardy.

Its a little hard to find, but it is there. The first time you press F1 (Guide button on remote) it'll take you to the TV Guide screen. The next time you press F1, it'll popup the search guide popup. Type 'jeo' then press enter.

Hi Sub, just wondering if anyone has commented that the text in found searches gets clipped top and bottom
if there is more than one line of text.

The text wraps like that on mine as well. It would be better if either the box expanded or the text got clipped at the right edge.

Its a relatively easy skin file tweak to tell it to not wrap.

I was wondering about the same before; glad I found this tread. However, is there a way to get the search screen appear without hitting a shortcut key? I don't have a remote (or it just cannot be detected as of now), and I'm afraid I'd eventually forget that F1 would do the trick...

No there isnt. It will eventually be moving back to the main menu though.
