Watch TV without recording?

Hi, I'm new to GB-PVR

Is it possible to watch live TV without the recording going on in the background? Just so the hard drive isn't working away in the background; I don't require any recording at the moment.

Hi. Tick the Live Preview Mode check box on the Misc tab in config.
