I recently had to replace a failing PVR-150 card. I replaced it with the AVerMedia M780 Combo PCI-e card. My other card is a PVR-150MCE. Both cards have drivers installed and the GBPVR Tuning Assistant can use both cards to tune, but GBPVR's config application will always tell me that the drivers for the card cannot be found. It is a Yes/No question on if I want to continue installing the capture card, even though the drivers cannot be found.

If the check the box for "Show installed devices only", both cards appear on the list. But when I try to save, that is when the error comes up.

This happens no matter which card I try to install second. M780 first, 150MCE second or vice versa. I have tried uninstalling GBPVR completely, and reinstalling, still didn't work. I also even tried going back to 0.99.12, but it doesn't recognize the M780 card.

I will attach logs later this evening.

Do you have both cards numbers set to 1
They should both be card number 1.

Oh really? That is my problem then... I guess I didn't fully understand what the capture source #1, #2, etc. thing was.

So the card numbers should only be changed from #1 if you have more than one type of that card?

If you have more than one instance of the same driver then you inc the capture card number.

No need to feel stupid. The reason we know the answer is because it's either happened to us or we've seen it on the forum plenty of times. You're not the first to get fooled by this Smile
